Basic requirements are listed below. However, please note that Granville Associates always recommends a discussion to understand the bank’s volumes and operation so that a suitable specification can be recommended for the bank’s live use.

Server

  • Processor: Quad x64
  • Memory: 8 GB
  •  Disk Space: 20 GB
  • Operating System: Microsoft Windows 2003
  • Cognos TM1 v9.1 SP3 1
  • Microsoft SQL Server 2005 1
  • Microsoft IIS
  • .NET Framework 1.1 or higher

 

Client

 

For thin client (web):

  • Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 SP2 or higher

For normal client

  • Processor: Pentium III
  • Memory: 512 MB
  • Operating System: Microsoft XP Professional
  • Microsoft Excel 2003 (optional)

 

Note 1: Granville would usually supply SQL Server 2005 and TM1 software (in italics above) as part of the solution.
