Business Intelligence Factory
The Business Intelligence Factory provides all the functionality of Harvester, but with following significant additional benefit:
It allows data from multiple source systems and multiple locations to be loaded into the same data warehouse. This means it is now possible for a bank to have a single consistent source of information for the bank’s entire operation.
Note: A recent study found that almost half of all financial institutions cannot consolidate data from their different systems. Business Intelligence Factory can help solve this problem.
Granville also offer an Adaptor for the trade services system, Trade Innovation, importing all relevant information into a single data warehouse. For the first time, this means it is now possible to have truly integrated reporting across Midas / Midas Plus and Trade Innovation. This is now live at one of our clients.
Another client loads information from 5 very different systems:
- Core banking system - Midas
- Trade business system - Eximbills
- Payments system - Aqua
- 2 of the bank's own internal systems
The ETL (Extract, Transform & Load) processes include the complex function of matching common information from different systems, e.g. customers
Banks can then import their own information to supplement the data warehouse.
They can also easily extract information for other purposes, to feed their own internal systems or to provide external feeds e.g. to regulators - see partnership with FRSGlobal
