Applications

Applications are provided to solve specific business problems. 

Selected data is extracted from the Information Layer to feed these applications. The same intuitive interface and flexible range of tools are available to use with the applications as with the rest of the solution.

The following applications are available as additional options.

Application

Financial

Customer / Product Profitability - allows a bank to create highly customised views of customer, product and organisational profitability around their own business structures. Key is the ability for a bank to add their own revenue and cost allocation methods.

Financial Reporting - provides an easy way to produce customised P&L, Balance Sheet and relate analytical reports with end-of-period adjustments.

Budgeting - allows an annual budget to be created and then captures actuals from the base cubes to provide variance reporting.

Risk

Liquidity Management – provides today’s liquidity position plus time-banded inflows / outflows to the end of book, with optional intra-day calculations.

Operations

Nostro Projections - calculates projected balances for the bank's nostro accounts every few miniutes during the day. It provides a summary view and it is easy to drill to the underlying transactions which make up the net movement for any day forward. Click here for an example.

Transaction Analysis - provides a way to search for and analyse transactions in many different ways e.g. volume of business, how many loans have matured in last quarter etc.

Corporate Finance

Exposure Management (Lending) - captures daily information to allow the bank to monitor its exposure to its lending clients. Information can be organised in many ways e.g. facility, country of risk, credit rating, industry, currency, business unit etc.

Loan Portfolio Analysis - uses information from the Exposure Management application and reorganises it to provide a range of additional management views and reports, both for the total business and for each business unit.
